Travail Education are a family run Education Agency who have well established excellent working relationships with a wide variety of Primary Schools in the Grantham area.
We have been approached by a lovely Primary school just on the outskirts of Grantham for a full time Teaching Assistant to work Monday to Friday 1-2-1 with a pupil with SEN needs! This Teaching Assistant post requires an experienced TA with SEN experience, you will be working 1-2-1 with a pupil who is on the Autistic spectrum, and will require skillful management of his needs and in particular requires support to communicate effectively, hence the Primary School are looking for a Teaching Assistant with similar SEND experience if possible.
The school offers a friendly and supportive working environment, they are a popular school in the area. The contract in initially for 6 weeks but could extend throught to Christmas.

Knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum and standards
An engaging personality and teaching style
Has high expectations
Able to build a strong rapport with the pupils and communicate effectively especially with those who struggle to communicate effectively themselves
Good behaviour management
A team player
SEN experience is highly desirable!

Pay – get paid a highly competitive daily rate,(£70 – £82) depending on experience payable weekly through the traditional PAYE method
Travail Education are able to offer you a fantastic longer term contract at a great Primary School in the local area, what we require from you is:
2 Years of traceable work/study references
Fully Enhanced DBS, registered on the DBS Update Service.
Dedication.
Preferably hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification, although not essential but you should have a minimum of 12 months classroom experience preferably with some experience working with SEN students.
