Technical Analyst
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £24000 – £28000/annum
We are currently recruiting for a Technical Analyst to join our Card Operations team.
You will have a passion for delivering continuous improvement, and operational support.

Roles and responsibilities:
* Drive process improvement and efficiency internally, focusing on automation Card Operations tasks
* Develop strong understanding of programs and ensure appropriate documentation is in place and maintained to ensure ongoing operational support
* Maintaining delivery of Card operation services within SLA.
* Resolve & prevent short and long-term operational pain points
* Monitor ticket queue and monitoring systems for any issues requiring technical expertise/assistance. Resolve these in a way to try and ensure they are not raised again.
* Report on and have awareness of all key KPI and SLA, identify any trends or patterns, and take necessary actions to improve performance, or resolve any SLA issues.
* Serve as a first escalation point and technical consultant for tickets/alerts/monitoring concerns escalated for assistance from other teams.
* Coordinate training and development needs within the Card Operations Team from a technical perspective.

* Capable of working on their own initiative.
* Technically competent and possess the ability to relate and communicate with customers and internal staff.
* Experience in a Technical Support &/or Financial Services environment
* Basic awareness of ITIL good practices
* Automation and Scripting skills and experience
* Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation, so that it can be followed with limited hands on experience
* Experience of using both SQL and UNIX
