Salary : £39000 – £45000/annum

Bailey Employment Services are looking for a Technical Manager to be based in technical and hygiene department for their client in Holme-On-Spalding-Moor on a permanent basis. Overseeing the Technical & Hygiene Department, its people, responsible for site food safety and quality, systems policies, procedures and equipment. Leading audits, complaints and generally being the onsite Food safety and quality guru.

Duties:

* Quality Policies and Procedures

* Food Safety Policies and Procedures

* Hygiene Schedules, suppliers and Laundry providers

* H&S – At Management level

* GMP Lead and Site Food Safety Lead

* Technical & Hygiene Team

* Customer and external bodies for Audits

Essential and desirable skills and qualities:

* Technical expertise within a wide range of food manufacturing operations

* Experience in site technical management

* Experience gained within a UK retail customer facing role

* Comprehensive knowledge of retailer codes of practice

* Previous experience as an Technical Manager working in a growing environment

* Previous experience as an Technical Manager working in a chilled, fast paced FMCG environment

* BRC V8 experience and Red Tractor and LEAF experience

* Experience with retailer's audit protocol

* Level 4 Food hygiene qualification

* NEBOSH / IOSH qualification

* Train the Trainer

* Degree level qualification in science or food technology (or equivalent experience)

* Level 3-4 HACCP

* Lead auditor qualifications
