As the business continues to expand, we are seeking an experienced and ambitious Technical Manager with the drive and desire to lead and build the department, utilising their expertise to ensure all appropriate controls and processes are in place to deliver technical, safety, ethical and legal responsibilities. This is a career role offering a unique opportunity.
Key requirements;
* Fresh Produce experience
* Demonstrable understanding of legal, ethical and technical standards
* First-class relationship building skills with the temperament to influence at all levels
* Strong communicator
Key duties;
* Develop a technical strategy
* Create and implement technical KPI’s
* Lead BRC standards across the operation
* Lead Food Safety Management
* Manage HACCP across the business
* Lead and manage the technical function
* Provide technical expertise to improve own brand NPD
* Develop and implement a new product launch critical path
* Manage implementation of a new technical platform
* Monitor and drive continuous improvement
* Management of Technical aspects across fresh produce
* Ensure a robust supplier audit system in place
* Develop policies; ethical, sustainable, environmental
