Technical Support Engineer

Salary : £30000 – £35000/annum
Role Overview
Due to expansion, we require a Technical Support Engineer to join our internal IT Support Team and aid in securing critical data and information.
You will be supporting our internal staff in the UK, with potential to support our employees worldwide. You will primarily be supporting Windows based systems, setting up and troubleshooting PC and laptop devices and administering Microsoft 365. This role would suit a 2nd line support engineer who is happy to own the 1st/2nd line function, and with the ambition to aid at 3rd line.
What will you be doing?
* Troubleshooting internal IT issues
* Setting up PC's, Laptops, and other various hardware devices
* Administration both on premise and Microsoft 365
* Software patching and asset management
* Managing Support requests
What are we looking for?
* 3 years experience within an IT Support or helpdesk function
* Strong understanding of the Microsoft suite, including Office 365, Hyper-V, and Active Directory
* Good communication, documentation and stakeholder management skills
* Microsoft Certification
* CompTIA-A+, BTEC Lvl. 4 in Computing or equivalent is desirable
