Care First Recruitment are currently recruiting a Technical Support Officer for various London boroughs
Job Purpose:
As a Technical Support Officer, you will be tasked with monitoring and maintaining an organisation’s computer systems and networks. You will be responsible for diagnosing any hardware or software faults with these systems and will solve the issues either in person or over the phone.
Locations include:
* Hammersmith and Fulham
* Brent
* Southwark
* Enfield
* Hackney
* Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea
* Sutton
* Tower Hamlets
Duties of a Technical Support Officer:
* Undertake a range of duties in a repairs and maintenance office
* Communicating with customers
* Organising appointments and managing operatives diaries
* Assist with payments and invoicing
* Provide full administrative support
* Answer duty phone and action any requests
* Ensures the effective day to day operation and management of the Council’s web sites, intranet, and internet
* Offering technical support and arranging training
* Provides day-to-day technical support to users of e-services
* Carries out day-to-day maintenance and monitoring of web-based systems
Person Specification:
* 5 GCSE/O-Level grades A to C including Maths and English (language)
* Advanced user of Office 365 package
* Background Technical Support
* Excellent communication skills
* The ability to set priorities and schedule work
