Our client’s team help leading employers screen, select, develop, and engage talented people worldwide. They’ve asked us to help them expand their teams of invigilators and administrators across their test centres within the UK.
You’ll need to be flexible in your approach to hours (there’s plenty available during the day and limited evenings (no nights)) and you’ll have the confidence to set tests, and full training will be given to help you do that. You’ll carry out ID verification checks, and you’ll keep an eye on candidates while they are completing their exam/tests, and you’ll look after the test centre, carrying out covid-hygiene duties too.
You’ll be based at a location near to your home, but your duties may see you travelling to various locations across our client’s network (expenses will be paid.) Test Centre staff will ideally work two evenings per month and two Saturdays (or Sundays @ £15/hour). While not essential, priority will be given to candidates who can meet that requirement.
To be of interest you will:
* Be a people person (and you may have some experience from a customer facing role)
* Have the confidence and ability to clearly read instructions to groups of people
* Be observant and prepared to discreetly intervene where issues arise
* Be a team-player with a flexible and accommodating attitude
* Be happy operating IT systems (training will be given, but you’ll need some affinity)
* Be legally able to live and work in the UK. If you have a working visa or work permit, you must have a minimum of 1-year validity left on your passport & the same on any UK work permissions.
