Trainee 1st Line Support
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £19000 – £22500/annum + excellent benefits
My client has a rare opportunity for an enthusiastic individual that wants to get into IT to join them on their Service Desk.
A basic understanding of IT is needed, e.g. MSOffice, Word, Excel & Outlook as well as excellent customer service skills.
Your role will be to;
* Provide customer focused 1st and 2nd line IT support
* Working across a varied customer base providing on-site
* General guidance and on how to use IT equipment in an office environment
* Resolving customer IT issues within pre-defined service level agreements
* Installation of printer and PC hardware
Full training will be given but previous IT exposure would be advantageous either from theoretical training, home use or work experience.
Skills & experience needed;
* Ability to communicate effectively in person and in writing at all levels
* Experience of working in a customer facing role
* Understanding of general IT Support including using various methods incl. remote support
* Good technical and analytical skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skill
The role will be predominantly based onsite due to the nature of the work. The successful candidate will need to be able to commute to the office in Worthing on a daily basis
