Trainee Accounts Assistant
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £17000 – £20000/annum
Red Rock are currently working with a HVAC Company based in the Wolverhampton area. Due to growth my client has an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join their small office team. You will be working directly for the Financial Director with the ability for day release to forward your career goals.
Role:
* Posting Purchase invoices onto Sage
* Posting Sales invoices
* Employee Payroll & Expenses
* Credit Control
* Reconciliation of accounts
* Month End
* VAT Returns
* Dealing with Queries
* Monthly Management Accounts
My client is currently changing their processes and implementing new methods of working, which you will be required to assist with.
What we are looking for:
* Standard Maths and English GCSE
* We are also interested in hearing from candidates who have successfully completed a level 2 in AAT
* Strong computer skills
* Are you able to demonstrate a real interest in a career in Finance
* Have excellent numerical, verbal, and written communication skills
* Have an inquisitive mind and are interested in rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck in
* Interested in how a business works and improving profit margins by utilising in house software
