We are seeking individuals either with experience or looking to start a new career as a mortgage and insurance adviser.
As this is a self employed position you must have the drive and ability to source your own leads, deliver excellent customer service and steadily build your own client bank. We may be able to provide some enquiries from our existing customer bank however this won’t be guaranteed and shouldn't be relied upon.
DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS
You will be required to hold a CeMAP qualification in order to provide mortgage advice so please only apply if you currently have this. There will be a referencing procedure before you can start which involves providing a copy of your CeMAP certificate, credit file, and referencing from your employers over the last 6 years.
Applications from experienced or newly qualified individuals welcome. You will be supported by existing members of the team who will set your training needs, CPD requirements and assist you with attaining competent adviser status.
As an adviser, your job will involve offering independent mortgage and protection advice and this will need to be carried out in compliance with our house systems and controls and Financial Conduct Authority regulations.
You will also be required to undertake a minimum number of hours of annual CPD – materials and the system used to record this will be provided.
REMUNERATION
Instead of the traditional method of wages with an OTE, we do not place any upper limit on your earning potential. You receive a percentage of all commissions and administration fees (if applicable) created from the mortgages and insurance you write.
This will be achieved from your own client bank (if you have one), self-generated leads, and referrals. There is also the opportunity to earn passive income from referrals to third parties for services we don’t provide such as solicitors, commercial finance etc.
We expect the right individual to be able to achieve earnings of at least £50,000 per annum in the first year.
As you are self-employed the number of hours you work are up to you. In order to maintain competency you will be required to undertake some obligatory training and CPD which may need to be attended in person or remotely via online meetings.
We have an office located in Hammersmith, London. To begin with you may be required to come into the office to conduct training, however some can be provided remotely via online meetings.
