Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking to recruit a Training Area Operative at, Lulworth Ranges in Wareham, Dorset.
As the Training Area Operative, you will play a key part in helping to maintain a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to train, this pivotal role is essential to the delivery of the contract.
We are looking for someone who either has previous knowledge of working on the Defence Training Estate or someone who is keen to learn new skills and bring an enthusiastic willingness to learn, Landmarc will provide full training for the successful applicant.
This role is being offered on a Permanent contract based over a 39 hour week from Monday – Friday.

Main ResponsibilitiesPreparing military ranges and training areas for use
Maintenance works on the range and training area
Setting up, handing over and operation of Targetry
Grounds maintenance such as; fencing, mowing and strimming
Driving and operating fleet vehicles
Equipment testing
Use both IT and paper based systems to complete any relevant documentation
Carry out any other additional requirements as needed
The Ideal CandidateExcellent knowledge of Health & Safety, COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments and safe systems of work
Excellent communicator with people on all levels
Basic labouring, caretaking and DIY skills
Work in a diverse multi-tasking team environment
Basic IT skills
Willingness to undertake further training
Must hold a full valid UK driving licence (essential)
