Unqualified SEN Teacher

Unqualified SEN Teacher – Barking, East London – Immediate and September Start Available
Active SEN are looking for an unqualified teacher to work in a primary SEN school in East London. In this position you will be leading a class of learners with SEN needs, mainly ASD (Autism), with additional needs such as MLD, speech and language difficulties and behaviour difficulties.
Requirements:
* Teaching experience
* Experience teaching groups of SEN learners
* Be available Monday – Friday from 8.30am – 4.00pm
* Clear DBS
* Right to work in the UK
You will be expected to:
* Be responsible for delivering a broad and balanced curriculum, which meets the relevant requirements.
* To take into consideration other curriculum approaches and specialist programmes so that the full needs of the pupils are met.
* Be accountable for the attainment and progress of all students who are taught by the post holder.
* Supervise and guide the work of any support staff (including Teaching Assistants (TAs) and Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) who are assigned to work with post holder’s classes/students.
* To set clear learning objectives and plan for and teach across the whole age and ability range for an appropriate proportion of the week.
