Van Driver
Job Type : Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £12 – £15/hour
Our client is the distribution side of a nationwide baked goods company, supplying fresh products daily.
Deliveries of baked goods to supermarkets and stores. The position will include manual handling of cages and old products to be collected from each drop.
Successful candidates will have a can-do attitude with a willingness to take instruction from the transport team. Previous delivery driving experience is beneficial however not essential.
A valid Drivers CPC and Digital Tachograph are mandatory for the position.
You must also have the correct category of licence for the vehicle you are driving which will be checked at registration.
AM2PM can accept drivers with any endorsements however it is at the clients discretion in regards to accepting drivers with points/endorsements.
Hours are 0300 until finish with average shifts being 10 hours per day.
Mon-Fri first 8 hours rates are:
* Class 2 – £15.00
* 7.5Ton – £13.00
* Van – £12.00
Overtime after 8 hours is a £1.00 increase
There may be an option of weekend work which will be paid at a higher hourly rate
