As a Development Technician you will work within a continuous assembly process with the ability to work with all tools and machinery required for the job. As a key member of the development team you will have the ability to be able to communicate well across all key internal functions.
The job:
* Assemble, manufacture, trim/adjust and refine wide range of vehicle components and assemblies within a team environment.
* Ensure health and safety requirements are met at all times.
* Highlight any quality issues and be prepared to help with problem solving.
* Carry out a range of jobs within manufacturing and engineering development.
* Effectively read and understand engineering drawings.
* Carry out trim and finish on vehicles as required.
Skills/experience:
* Vehicle body / mechanical / electrical building experience.
* Have previous assembly experience on commercial vehicles or similar equipment.
* Experience of cutting, shaping, scribing various materials including composites.
* Maintain care of any equipment required to carry out the job.
* A keen eye for detail.
* Good time keeping and work ethos.
* Good knowledge of Health and Safety practices.
* Experience within a manufacturing/operational type sector.
* Experience of reading and understanding engineering drawings.
