Ventilation Assistant Project Manager (Foreman)
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £34000 – £38000/annum Vehicle, mobile, laptop
Key Responsibilities:
* A good understanding of BESA DW 144 current standards and Regulations for the manufacture and installation of sheet metal ductwork.
* To manage installation in line with programme and on budget
* Onsite management of resources and labour
* Onsite contact for client and other trades, to coordinate installation in line with programme
* To assess variations from contract works, take measures and update drawings accordingly
* Quality control, including snagging engineers works and ensuring these are resolved
* To provide updates and progress reporting to Project Manager
* Ability to work to scale from mechanical drawings
* Be able to take off from drawings and liaise with the office to order materials and equipment.
* Understanding of and compliance with relevant health and safety legislation.
* To act in a professional manner and treat all persons and companies with whom they interact with decency.
* Willingness to travel/be away from home to attend sites at times when required.
* Attend all team meetings and as necessary suggest service and protocol developments.
