Venue Operations Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Seasoned Events as Venue Operations Manager for Tower Bridge.
The Venue Operations Manager will manage and deliver all aspects of the venue and catering operation at Tower Bridge as an events venue while ensuring an excellent client relationship is maintained and developed
Our clients expect impeccable service and us to create events that their clients will be blown away by. This might be through creative event design, sourcing ‘money can’t buy entertainment’ or simply delivering a seamless event delivery at speed that surpasses everything they have experienced before.
The duties of the position are as follows but not be limited to:
* Plan and deliver events across the venue as required.
* Manage Tower Bridge accredited suppliers list (including but not limited to production companies, florists and furniture companies) specifically deliveries, collections, security, pre-rig and de-rig.
* Manage the onsite relationship between Seasoned Events and the Tower Bridge team.
* Manage and keep up to date the SOP manual for the venues.
* Ensuring a high standard of service and customer service is delivered at all times.
* Host or attend both sale and operational site visits.
* To communicate effectively with internal and external clients and team, verbally face to face and in writing.
* To be proactive to maximise sales opportunities.
* Responsible for all hygiene, health and safety relating to the event and catering operation at the venue, in order to ensure compliance by all staff at an operational level.
* Financial forecasting, calculating G.Ps, setting prices, monitoring and agreeing targets with Commercial Director.
* Be responsible for ensuring that staff are motivated, appraised and trained
The ideal candidate will be/have:
* Must have a minimum of 2 years event venue operations experience
* Confident and motivated within the events/hospitality industry.
* Strong proactive sales skills.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Represent Tower Bridge and Seasoned in a professional manner at all times
