Salary :

Vineyard Operative (Tenterden, Ashford, Hawkhurst, Maidstone)
Annual Salary £24,960 + the opportunity for overtime
Equates to £12.00 per hour – basic pay will increase in April 2025

Usual hours are 8am to 4:30pm (40-hour week) – Monday to Friday (this opportunity doesn’t offer part time hours)
Annual salary is based on an hourly rate of around £12.00 an hour (however there is flexibility on this rate depending on experience and will increase in April)
They are looking for some flexibility around busier periods and particularly around harvest
20 days holiday, public holidays, and day off for your birthday
Overtime is paid at time and a half or there may be an option to take time off in lieu – there will be flexibility around this
Training is provided on tractors  
Areas are Tenterden, Ashford, Hawkhurst and Maidstone   
We have exciting opportunities for proactive and capable Vineyard Operatives to join our clients dedicated viticulture team in various Kent locations including Tenterden, Ashford, Hawkhurst and Maidstone. This role offers the opportunity to be part of the fastest-growing sector in UK agriculture and the flourishing UK wine industry and plays a vital role in our success.
This varied team role is primarily based outdoors and involves a mix of seasonal tractor-based and hands-on tasks associated with vine and vineyard husbandry as well as overall care and maintenance of the estate assets.

About you
This role is ideal if you are an enthusiastic individual with a love for outdoors and a keen interest in viticulture. You will be a key member of the team, ideally with experience operating agricultural machinery and equipment with good awareness of Health and Safety requirements. PA1, PA2 or PA3 spray certification is preferred but training can be given.
Reliability and a flexible approach to working hours with a desire for working outdoors is essential.
