Warehouse Operative Van Driver

Red Recruitment group urgently require an experienced warehouse van driver for a temporary to permanent position in Maidstone, Kent.
Your main position will be to work Out on the road delivering fragile automotive components as a van driver. With additional warehouse duties as part of your daily routine. A varied role with both driving and warehouse work.
Manual handling is involved in both the warehouse and delivery duties.
The vehicle you will be driving is a long wheel based Mercedes Sprinter so candidates ideally would have good previous experience in driving this size of vehicle.
You will be required to be aged 25 as a minimum and hold ideally a full clean drivers licence for insurance purposes.
Hours of work are 05:00 – 14:30 Monday to Friday
Plus every other Saturday 08:00 – 13:00
£9.50 per hour all hours during 2 weeks temp to perm period/ £22'230 basic salary.
Rising from April 3rd to £10.42 per hour / £24380 basic salary plus overtime available when permanent.
Overtime will be paid at time and a half after average 45 hours per week once employed permanent by the company.
Weekly paid for temp to permanent period then monthly paid thereafter when permanent.
