Warehouse Solutions Designer

This well established, profitable and growing company is one of the UK’s leading solutions integrators, designing and building custom Automated Warehouse Solutions for the logistics industry.
Following contract award – which can be anything from an upgrade to a full warehouse solution valued at £5m – the Project team will produce detailed specifications, designs and layouts for all the mechanical equipment required, taking the project to completion to cost, schedule and customer specification.
Through expansion they are seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Solutions Design Engineer to join their team. Your role will be to analyse, model and design automated materials handling solutions for customers, model data flows to support solution design and to create technical proposal documents to support sales bid. Additionally, you will help in the preparation of technical proposal documents whilst liaising with suppliers to assess most appropriate equipment for those bids and attending meetings with customers to help develop these solutions.
Ideally you will be from within the automated warehouse solutions sector and have experience of the mechanical engineering and design aspects of projects from award through to completion
