Weekend Cook
Do you enjoy cooking? Do you have the ability to work in an organised and methodical manner?
Fyling Hall is looking to appoint a weekend cook ideally for the start of the new term this September. You will have previous experience working in a busy catering environment and be able to work as part of a team.
You be required to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday (09:00 – 18:30) during term time. On Friday the position will involve assisting the kitchen in the preparation and serving of our fresh food, as well as with washing up and cleaning. On weekends the successful candidate will be solely responsible for the preparation and serving of the menu for the boarding community.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, all successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS application, provide two references and have the right to work in the UK.
The post will require the successful candidate to work approximately 36 weeks per year but they will be paid a salary (this will be £14.00/hr).
