Window and Door Estimator

Salary : £35000 – £38000/annum
Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently recruiting for a successful and well-established window and door business, who are looking for an experienced estimator to join their team.
Our client, supply bespoke windows and doors to the trade and construction market, boast a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and are known for their excellent product quality and customer care.
The right candidate for this role will have current or recent experience estimating aluminium windows and doors using industry specific software, Logikal.
The role responsibilities:
* Liaising with customers to understand requirements and manage expectations
* Advising and supporting customer with specification and compliance queries
* Extracting information from tender drawings to allow quotations to be prepared and submitted
* Maintaining and developing professional relationships with current clients
* Liaising with customers via phone and through the website
* Liaise with Architects and house builders
The candidate skills & experience:
* Proven track record of estimating windows and doors
* Experience using LogiKal is preferred
* Have experience with dealing with Architects and house builders
* Be able to work towards tight deadlines
* Experience in the construction industry and understanding of construction tender drawing is essential
* To be able to manage own workload
* Proactive, confident and reliable
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
