In these Terms the following expressions have the defined meanings:

“Application” means an application for a job vacancy that has been advertised on the Site.

“CV or Resume Services” is a service which, if selected by the Jobseeker, enables the Jobseeker to make his or her CV/ Resume available to recruiters who have subscribed to receive CVs/ Resumes by email and/or to search for CVs/ Resumes in our database using various search criteria; and

“Jobs-By-Email Alerts” is a service which matches and sends job vacancies via email to Jobseekers/Job finders who have subscribed to this service.

“Jobseeker” means the person registering to use the Site for Jobseeker Services;

“Jobseeker Services” means free job finding tools and services made available via the Site including, without limitation, Jobs-By-Email and CV/resume Services.

“Services” means all recruitment products and services made available by us from time to time.

“Employer” means any person, company, organisation or firm which purchases Services from us to advertise their jobs

Governing law

These terms and conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with English law and all disputes shall be decided by the English courts.

Data Protection

CVs / Resumes and other personal information supplied by Jobseekers of this site is governed by our privacy policy. Our Privacy policy can be found on privacy policy page.

For Jobseekers

While or after submitting an Application, the Jobseeker agrees that he/she has read and understood the requirements for the job vacancy, information provided as part of the Application is a true and accurate reflection of the Jobseeker’s employment, education, experience and training and that the Jobseeker’s personal details are correct.

If the Jobseeker submits any information in an Application that is found to be false, we reserve the right to deny the Jobseeker access to the Site and its services.

Jobseekers should also note that Applications are assessed by the relevant employers and all decisions relating to such Applications are taken by the relevant employers only and not by us. Accordingly, any requests for information relating to Applications that have been made should be addressed to the employer directly.

Information provided on the site is intended to assist in the job seeking or recruitment process. We accept no responsibility or liability for the contents of the job advertisements by employers/agencies or employer’s suitability or prospects of success. As a jobseeker you should acquire more statistics before relying on information provided on the site in circumstances which may cause loss or damage.

For Employers/Agencies

Job Approval Timescale

Job adverts will go live on JobTimes.co.uk after a confirmation of payments received and will be live on website within 3 to 24 hours except weekend and Bank Holidays where it will be live next working day.

Commencement of Services

We will not publish any job on our website until the full payment is received in full and cleared. By selecting the required package you agree to purchase a service and pay in full.

We will review the contents of the advertisement, if everything is fine we will approve the advertisement for publication on our website.

Prices

Prices are as specified in the JobTimes.co.uk packages page and are guaranteed at the time of purchase. If a job is posted on our website it will be live for 30/60 days (depends on the package) or if employer/agency wishes to remove it before 30/60 days period.

If we provide any discount that should be kept confidential and may not be disclosed by the employer/agency.

Payments

JobTimes’s core job seeking services are free to use. However, some non-core services require payment to access. The payments are made by credit card / debit card using PayPal’s secure transaction environment. Please visit PayPal’s website for more information.

Refunds

We will only charge when the products or services you have requested has been published on our website. If you have difficulties with the above system, please contact us on info@jobtimes.co.uk

Termination of services

The Customer (Employer / Agency / Jobseeker) may terminate their account at any time, but there will be no refund given for the advertised jobs which are already been approved by us and on JobTimes.

We may terminate the provision of Services if the employer/agency is in material breach of any of these terms or the employer/agency becomes insolvent, ceases to trade or goes into liquidation.

Employer/Agency’s name, trademarks and logos

Employers/agencies agrees that JobTimes may use their name, trademarks and logos for the purposes of providing the jobseeker Services.

Employers/agencies also agrees that JobTimes may use their names or logos for marketing purposes and also mention employer/agency as a reference customer in JobTimes marketing materials.

Job Advertising rules

We would like to remind employers/agencies that when they advertise their jobs please keep in mind that any job vacancy advertised must be a genuine vacancy not of any other type of advertisement other than recruitment, also not been advertised on the website by any other employer/agency.

Employers/Agencies must understand that they must not use Gratuitous/ Complimentary keywords in job descriptions or job titles. Gratuitous/ Complimentary means deliberately inserting words, strings of words, or repeating job titles, with the intention of influencing position in the results listing, or increasing the number of page views.

Discrimination on grounds of sex, disability and race in any advertisements are NOT allowed, these kind of advertisement will be removed from website and the employer/agency will be deleted from our database.

JobTimes unable to give any guarantee that employer/agency will receive a response to their advertisement is suitable to the advertisement, it is employer/agency’s responsibility that they should carry out the necessary checks to ensure that the response received meet their requirements.

You (employers /Agencies) can use external links in your job advertisement but those link should only be used in conjunction with the job advertised, we may remove those links if we feel that links are not relevant to the job advertised. It is also your responsibility that you maintain those external links and the advertisement contents all the time. We may also amend the job advertisement to get a best possible response for your job advertisement.

JobTimes will not be liable or responsible for the third party content on the Site and in the Services. Third party content includes e.g. material posted by other users of the JobTimes and Services, job vacancy advertisements and display advertising. Where the Site and Services contain links to other sites and resources which are provided by third parties, these links and resources are provided for your information only and you access them at your own risk. We are not liable or responsible for the content of third party sites or resources.

Above all we expect that Employers /Agencies treat any response received fairly and professionally. Employers /Agencies/ Jobseekers should not involve JobTimes in any dispute/claim whatsoever which arise from any misleading advertisement by employer/agency or misleading response from jobseeker.

You also agree that you will treat all the jobseekers fairly and professionally you may contact using the information from our database and will not do anything which may bring JobTimes into disrepute. You will insure JobTimes from and against any claim brought by an individual against JobTimes arising from your breach of this obligation or any other of these terms and conditions.

Database Usages and Rights

Employers /Agencies/Jobseekers confirm that by using/entering/registering your information regarding yourself or your company details in our database, you do not attain any rights in the database and its contents and use of the database and its content is administered by these terms and conditions.

All the database rights and all other applicable copyright and intellectual property rights in the database belong to JobTimes.

Employers /Agencies will use the jobseeker’s information only in connection with your own recruitment-related activities

Usernames and Passwords

Employers /Agencies / Jobseekers must keep their Usernames and Passwords safe, confidential and secure all the times and they are for the sole use of the person to whom they are issued. We may deny access to your account if we believe that it is being used by an unauthorised person or that the user is breaching these terms and conditions.

Website availability

We try to ensure continuous availability of the site and all the services available on it but accept no responsibility for the consequences of interruptions or delays, however caused. We may, additionally, alter the design and specification of the site at any time
